About Sam Marshall Davies
I became specifically interested in Nutrition in 2004 when I went for a food intolerance test myself. At the time I was 28yrs old and had debilitating chronic back pain, no one could find a cause for. By undertaking a controlled elimination diet and naturopathic treatment I lost 3st and experienced huge health benefits in just 6 months. This inspired me to go one and train in Allergy Intolerance Therapy and Holistic Nutritional Practice at the College of Holistic Health, qualifying in 2008.
I work with people of all ages, suffering from a variety of health issues including IBS, gall stones, candida, eczema, fertility issues and depression. I
specialise in food intolerances and digestive weakness, examining the impact
of diet on chronic health conditions such as autoimmune diseases. I have had a particular interest in nutrition and food intolerances for children/babies and breastfeeding mothers, which developed after the birth of my children.
I am a qualified teacher and educator, and have written and delivered bespoke
training programmes in health and management to the private and education
sectors. I am passionate about
empowering people to make their own sustainable diet changes and I deliver regular public education sessions to inform and support those regaining their
I believe in a holistic treatment approach, ensuring that people are empowered to take responsibility for their own health through education and support. Complementary therapies do not have to replace mainstream treatment, but can work along side it to promote lifelong healing.
I am a member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.
