Well Necessities Nutrition Courses

I run a number of courses throughout the year on different nutritional topics. If you can't make the date of a course please let me know and if there is a group of you I would be happy to come and deliver a special course just for you! I can also write bespoke material for particular groups so if you run a society or club and you think they would benefit from some specific nutritonal advice then please contact me for a quotation.

All my courses are fun and interactive and come with a resourse pack or booklet for you to take home. They also include relevant FREE items such as natural beauty products, health food snacks and herbs. I cater for a range of different learning styles and can adapt all my courses to cater for particular learning needs.

Food 4 Health

Food 4 Health is a series of 2 self heal courses designed to give you all the knowledge you need to start making more natural choices in your own health care. The courses are both discussion and practically orientated so you will get a chance to experiment and make things yourself. All food and drinks for the courses are supplied and I can cater for all dietary allergies. Both courses have a workbook which you complete as we go through the course, packed with exercises that will get you thinking about your own knowledge and thoughts.

You also get a FREE course manual for each course on CD Rom which contains over 60 pages of in depth information on the subjects we cover on the course for you to read at your leisure. PLUS a FREE Detox pack containing natural beauty products, raw chocolate samples, superfood protein powder, cacao superfood trail mix, vitamin & mineral supplements and herbal teas when you book on a course. All refreshments for the day are included in the cost.

Food 4 Health Part I

25th September, 10am to 3pm Birch Hill Bracknell.

Places are Limited to 6 maximum so please book early to avoid disappointment.

• Introduction on Healing – the brief history of healing from Egyptian to modern times, allopathic vs holistic healing, healing at a cellular level and a look at different types of complimentary healing therapies. You have a chance to experiment yourself with using crystals, colours, aromatherapy oils during an energy healing session.

• Your Healing Journey – a chance for you to profile yourself and your priorities, personal goal setting, understanding your motivators, using visualisations and mediation. You can also relax while we do a group and personal meditation to help cement your healing goals.

• Using Superfoods – learn how to incorporate Superfoods into your daily life and experiment by making your own superfood fudge and nutrient packed snack bars. Learn how numerous different Superfoods can benefit you in your everyday life. You get to taste and try all the different superfoods including bee pollen, maca, ashwaganda, raw chocolate (of course) and many more.

• Making your Own Home Remedies – go through the basics on how to make your own herbal tinctures and other herbal products, gem elixirs and basic home remedies for everything from athletes foot to eczema. Learn how to safely cleanse the body using herbs and kitchen cupboard essentials. Take home you own gem elixir and cherry cough syrup.

Food 4 Health Part II

16th October, 10am to 3pm Birch Hill Bracknell. Places are Limited to 6 maximum so please book early to avoid disappointment.

• Nutrition Basics – cover the basics on fats, carbohydrates, proteins, water, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Learn how to put foods together to make decisions on how to balance your own diet and treat basic health complaints with vitamins and minerals. Examine the pros and cons of different diets including the raw food diet and juice fasting. You get to invent your own raw food recipes and eat them for lunch!

• Systems of the Body – cover how the digestive and immune systems work in the body. Get a greater understanding of our elimination systems and how we can improve the health of our liver. Understand what causes food allergies and how we can reduce them.

• Food Goodies & Baddies – an in depth look at wheat dairy and sugar and their impact on the body. Includes numerous alternatives for people following elimination diets. • Toxins in Our Daily Lives – get a greater understanding of how toxins in our environment impact or bodies. Look in depth at where the toxins in our foods come from and how we can reduce our daily toxic load. Get a chance to make your own natural beauty products and take away your own lip balm. Learn over 10 naturopathic techniques to help detox the body.

Cost: £50 per course. If you book for both courses at the same time before September the 1st you get a 10% discount.




Make Your Own Chocolate

A two hour workshop that introduces you to the power of Raw Chocolate and gives you easy tips on how to use it at home to make raw cakes, bars and truffles for your friends and family.

Or treat your self to a "healthy" night in with the girls, getting your hands dirty making your own raw chocolate and superfoods. How nice not to feel guilty for indulging in chocolate!!

Corporate Courses

I offer corporate courses on a range of support topics from natural ways to relieve stress to how to boost your immune system. The workshops are both educational and fun, and delivered in an interactive way to suit all learning styles. They can be delivered over a lunch time, for a whole day or as a part of a wellness week programme.
